  1. It was amazing!! I’ll watch again. I was super-excited to find a quality program to enjoy on TV last night. Thanks PBS and Marvin Hamlisch!

  2. “I’m watching Mr. Hamlishc’s bio on “American Masters” right now and am just blown away by his talent. I’ve always been familiar with his music but not the personal side of him. Such a great loss.”

  3. It was special to be reminded to watch by both Melissa Manchester and Lucie Arnaz Luckinbill. More so, one of the best, most thought-provoking things I’ve seen on TV in a while, a perfect way to usher in 2014 with heartfelt, creative joy. Thanks Marvin…blessings upon your memory.

  4. Fantastic PBS documentary American Masters on Marvin Hamlisch….got into Julliard at 6 years old….what a wonderful human being and talented artist..his legacy lives on in the amazing body of work he left.

  5. Love it, and will always be a fan of Marvin Hamlisch (since The Way We Were when I was a young girl). My parents met him in the elevator at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh while he was the conductor of the symphony. He was gracious and funny, and my mother just loved him. Lovely tribute to a lovely man.
