  9. Hi Marvin,
    I miss you.
Could we go get one more gelato at midnight?
Friend and mentor, you sit beside me on the piano bench.
May every note I play and every word I sing be filled with as much love as you gave us all.
It’s the LAUGHTER, we WILL remember!
    Love,

  10. Marvin Hamlisch left us all far too soon, August 6, 2012. But we don’t have to believe it if we don’t want to. We’ll never forget you and all that you gave us. The Tucker Family.

  11. Two years and it seems like yesterday. you are missed every day of my life.
thank you for the 23 years we had together. the ballgames, concerts, parties,
spring training trips. Oh, if i could just have one more dinner, one more 30
second conversation. your legacy will last forever, the stories I’ve heard
from strangers these past two years really shows the man you were. Every
story showed your love and support you gave to anyone that crossed your
path. I went to you on your 2nd anniversary, and prayed like always, and will forever.
Words can’t express how you are missed.
    I love you my friend.

  12. Marvin made our lives so special!
Whether we were part of his devoted audience or
having dinner or just talking on the phone
he was so funny and kind and loving!
He was Marvin-on stage and off-what you saw
    was Marvin!
May his memory and his music live on forever-
    the man made the music
and the music made the man!

  13. Marvin,

You changed my life in so many ways. You made me look at and play music differently than I had before I met you. You taught me where to get the best ice cream (a skill I still use often).

Working with you and spending time with you was the BEST — and was always fun! I miss looking over my shoulder when I conducted for you and seeing you smile back because you were having fun at whatever you were playing. I miss just talking with you… Somehow it still doesn’t seem possible that you are gone because you are still such an important part of our lives. Thanks for sharing your life with me and my family! You and Terre are the best!!!

I miss you my friend — love you,

    JEG
