Song: What I Did For Love — Rendition by Idina Menzel:

What I Did For Love

(A Chorus Line is a Michael Bennett musical with music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban and a book by James Kirkwood, Jr. and Nicholas Dante. Centered on seventeen Broadway dancers auditioning for spots on a chorus line, the musical is set on the bare stage of a Broadway theatre during an audition for a musical. A Chorus Line provides a glimpse into the personalities of the performers and the choreographer as they describe the events that have shaped their lives and their decisions to become dancers.)

  1. Saw Idina and Marvin at the Kennedy Center a few years back — amazing. So glad we saw them together before he passed. This is such a beautiful song and nobody sings it like Idina!!!

  2. Nobody can sing this song as well as Idina. I mean all the emotions she puts in it, but also her beautiful voice, make it absolutely amazing. I was at this concert, I can tell you that I couldn’t help crying, so much emotions in her voice and on her face. Beautiful. We miss and love you Marvin 3
