  1. I would love to see this song coined as a national anthem of sorts. This is the time for Marvin Hamlisch to lift his hand, and calm our souls. –ajs. Terre Blair Hamlisch is the loving wife of Maestro Marvin Hamlisch and dear friend of Martha Stewart. May Marvin’s majesty in music inspire our nation to lift high, the words, One Song! 2. I remember this song on a TV special SHOWSTOPPERS many years ago and I cried then. Each time I hear this song-at a concert or on a CD-I remember the hope Marvin had that it might lead to peace. I wish I were there to enjoy your performance tonight. My heart will be singing with you!

“Marvin Hamlisch, a brilliant composer AND and incredibly GOOD MAN, knew that music had the power to bring clashing groups of people together in peace. Please, listen to One Song and let’s all work toward finding the common ground of respect for ALL as our building blocks for moving forward.”
